INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Account Information. When you create a Moxis One account, we may collect information needed to create, identify, and secure your account, such as your email address, display name, and authentication information.

Product Scan Information. When you scan a product, Moxis One may process or store information associated with that scan, including a product identifier such as a barcode, product and ingredient information, scan results, and the date or time of the scan.

Moxis One may request access to your device’s camera for barcode or product-code scanning. Camera access is controlled through your device’s permission settings.

Preferences and Goals. You may provide preferences, goals, or other settings that Moxis One uses to personalize your experience and generate more relevant insights. You may modify these settings through the app.

AI Interactions. When you use AI-powered features, information necessary to generate a response may be processed by Valencia Innovations and third-party AI service providers. This may include product information, your selected preferences or goals, and information you submit as part of your request.

AI-generated responses are provided for informational and wellness purposes only and should not be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Community Content. If you choose to submit reviews, comments, or other community content, information you intentionally make public—including your display name and submitted content—may be visible to other users.

Device and Technical Information. We may automatically collect limited technical and diagnostic information, such as device type, operating system, application version, crash reports, usage information, and other data used to maintain, secure, and improve the Services.

Website Communications. If you contact us through our website or another support channel, we may collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, and message.

  • Provide, operate, and maintain Moxis One and our other Services;

  • Process product scans and display product and ingredient information;

  • Respond to questions, support requests, and other communications;

We may also disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or governmental requests; enforce our agreements or policies; investigate fraud or security issues; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Valencia Innovations, our users, or others.

If Valencia Innovations is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND DATA SOURCES

Certain features of Moxis One may rely on third-party services, databases, APIs, artificial intelligence providers, payment platforms, or product-information sources.

Your interaction with certain third-party services may also be governed by their respective privacy policies and terms. Valencia Innovations is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties that operate independently from us.

DATA RETENTION AND ACCOUNT DELETION

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Where available, you may delete your Moxis One account through the app or request deletion by contacting us.

Following an account-deletion request, associated personal information will be deleted or de-identified from active systems as reasonably required, except where retention is necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate purposes. Information may remain temporarily within secure backup systems until those backups are overwritten or deleted through normal retention cycles.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Request access to personal information we maintain about you;

  • Request correction of inaccurate information;

  • Request deletion of certain personal information;

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no electronic transmission, storage system, or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and Valencia Innovations does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that personal information has been collected from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Moxis One provides informational and wellness-oriented content and insights. Moxis One does not provide medical advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed or stored in the United States or other countries in which Valencia Innovations or its service providers operate.
